Diffusion Processes and Coherent States

چکیده
It is shown that uncertainty relations, as well as coherent and squeezed states, are structural properties of stochastic processes with Fokker-Planck dynamics. The quantum mechanical coherent and squeezed states are explicitly constructed via Nelson stochastic quantization. The method is applied to derive new minimum uncertainty states in time-dependent oscillator potentials. Minimum Uncertainty and Squeezing in Diffusion Processes and Stochastic Quantization
We show that uncertainty relations, as well as minimum uncertainty coherent and squeezed states, are structural properties for diffusion processes. Through Nelson stochastic quantization we derive the stochastic image of the quantum mechanical coherent and squeezed states.

In this paper, by using the nonlinear coherent states on a sphere, we introduce superposition of the aforementioned coherent states. Then, we consider quantum optical properties of these new superposed states and compare these properties with the corresponding properties of the nonlinear coherent states on the sphere. Specifically, we investigate their characteristics function, photon-number d...
متن کاملAn Entanglement Study of Superposition of Qutrit Spin-Coherent States
Considering generalized concurrence as the criterion of entanglement, we study entanglement properties of superposition of two qutrit coherent states, as a function of their amplitudes. These states may attain maximum entanglement or no entanglement at all, depending on the choice of the parameters involved. The states revealing maximum entanglement also display the maximum violations of the Be...
متن کاملGazeau- Klouder Coherent states on a sphere
In this paper, we construct the Gazeau-Klauder coherent states of a two- dimensional harmonic oscillator on a sphere based on two equivalent approaches. First, we consider the oscillator on the sphere as a deformed (non-degenerate) one-dimensional oscillator. Second, the oscillator on the sphere is considered as the usual (degenerate) two--dimensional oscillator. Then, by investigating the quan...
متن کاملCoherent States and the Measurement Problem
The convenience of coherent state representation is discussed from the viewpoint of what is in a broad sense called the measurement problem in quantum mechanics. Standard quantum theory in coherent state representation is intrinsically related to a number of earlier concepts conciliating quantum and classical processes. From a natural statistical interpretation, free of collapses or measurement...
